Gold Hydrogen’s flow testing campaign in South Australia has caught the attention of the national media.

The announcement last week that we have flowed Helium to surface – and purified and bottled it – led to both 7 and 9 News covering the breakthrough, and radio, digital and print all putting resources into what was happening on the Yorke Peninsula.

We are the first company to do this in Australia since a Darwin Helium plant closed in 2023.

Our move to put Helium into a weather forecasting balloon certainly gave media a strong image to use.

Also significant is the ABC’s coverage, which included backing from Ramsay landowner Brendan Moloney: "It's a good thing for Australia," he said. That article is here.
Company representatives have also appeared on ABC’s radio Country Hour and Adelaide stations in the past 48 hours.

Other print and digital outlets also visited the site last week and we’ll share anything reported once it is published.

Already The Advertiser (the Adelaide daily newspaper) has printed a piece, screenshot below.

Their sister paper, Brisbane’s Courier-Mail, has also chimed in with coverage of Gold Hydrogen, claiming them is Queensland locals. That piece here.

Flow testing has so far been done on just the Helium-focussed Ramsy 1 well. Other well testing will look at Hydrogen and Helium and results will be disclosed in coming weeks.
